We've listed you on the U.S. Civil War participants page. Thanks for joining the challenge.
Nice lot of challenges Isabel. I looked at you Murakami. I've read the memoir - you might like to check out my review when you've read it.
I also like the idea of the TBR challenge ... I had a bit of a resolution about TBRs last year and managed to improve my achievement there are bit as a result. I hope to improve even more this year.
And, a Happy New Year to you. I wish you a year full of good books, much fun and all the things your heart desires.
Oh, and nice selection for your International Challenge.
Thanks for signing up for my Dewey Decimal Challenge! A book about the Arctic should be a nice mental break from the heat this summer! Good luck with your other challenges as well! You've chosen some great books!
Serena - Thanks, I like your challenges. Looking forward to everyone's posts.
WG-Thank you for all the good wishes! I really need to work on Moby Dick. The Steinbecks have been on my TBR for about 10 years!
The International Challenge is easy for me. I just copied what the book club is reading.
IJen- I always read about some cold area during the summer. The summers in New Orleans are getting more unbearable for me. I need to win the lottery, so I can spend 1/2 year somewhere else.
I love your button for your challenge.
Glad to see you're joining us for the Civil War challenge! I'm looking forward to your reviews. I've only selected 2 books so far, and I have no idea what else to read. I haven't read much about that war before.
Anna,
I read Gone with The Wind. I don't want to read it again: too long.
I'll send you some links with my review of GWTW
I am also looking for more books to read.
Thanks for joining the Murakami challenge. What I Talk About When I Talk About Running is one I'm hoping to read this year as well. Happy reading!
Tanabata - Love your picture!
