When there are controlled burnings of the oil floating in the Gulf of Mexico and the wind blows my way, I feel badly. I have to use my inhaler on those days.
Plus, I have been admitted to graduate school; I will be studying for the Masters of Library Science at LSU-Baton Rouge. However, I don't need to go there, except for orientation. One class is on video, and the other is computer based.
I have been running around to get all my shots, sending more information, registering for classes, and looking for textbooks.
I also attended the Isabel Allende reading for her latest novel. I'll write about it soon.

Congrats on getting into grad school. I've got some similar news, which I'll be sharing on my blog at some point.
Hope the asthma gets better.
Yay, congrats on grad school girl! I can't wait to hear more about it. Have fun with your family and call me when you get back.
Congrats on grad school. Hope you feel better soon.

Kimbofo - I can't wait to hear your news.
Iliana and Ana- so far, the air in the Houston area is not making me ill (I never thought that I would feel this way).
I've never taken an web based course nor a compressed video class, so it should be interesting.
Congrats on getting into the MLS program for Library Science--that's really exciting news! My university offers a distance learning course for it that some of our workers have done and the distance learning seems to work well. Hope you're feeling better and can't wait to hear more about Isavel Allende--I have her new novel to read, too.
congrats on making it into grad school. I really get depressed when the news shows the oil spill...it is just awful!
Danielle and Serena, my happiness about the admission has been deflated a bit. Keep an eye for a future posting.
My breathing is better with the inhaler, but I will have to live with it for a longer time. The oil is spreading more.
