When you first fall in love, electricity flows all the time.
After a time, it calms down to a steady flow, if it's true love.
Squiggles are pages cut from a glossy Houston newspaper called Paper City.
Hearts are stamped images, one over the other and the heart part is cut out.
Red strings holds everything together.

Tim, I don't quilt. The only sewing I do is to mend socks and put buttons on that pop off.
I was inspired by a journal that I bought at a fair trade store on the Tulane University Campus in New Orleans. The journal is from Bangladesh. In a future post, I will blog about the journal and the store.
