Illustration Friday - Save

Oh, what's the use of SAVING money if no one can SAVE the little piggy bank from being killed and eaten?

The arrow is made from several layers of paper that were water colored and then peeled off. I also incorporated ribbon and paint.

The pig's colored pencil profile is my attempt at drawing. The nose is off center, but so what? Ancient Egyptians never got their profiles right either and the Pharohs didn't complain.

hihihihi...I think we were on a similiar theme this week! Save the sausages!!! Or rather save the animals from being made into sausages.

I think your pig has character and I like your choice of materials. Pigs really get a bad rap. They are characterized as "filthy", "smelly", "selfish", and their name is used to insult other humans. You'd think that would be enough to save them from being eaten.

Shani, I liked your image better. I had a dream about my IF Save, but I wasn't able to replicate the image. I need more practice with collage.

Tim - He has character because he is not perfect. I like to combine several meanings of a word for collage.

This week's is Fail. That one is harder.
