To a person born in the very late 20th century, what is more primitive than:
a handwritten note (no e-card or email message)
in cursive (no Word or printed message)
with a handmade item (not from a website??)
I weaved the thing with some skinny palm fronds from the backyard.

Very funny! Excellent take on the topic!!
Thanks. My younger relative have no idea how to do handwritten notes. They think writing with pen or ink is too laborious.
You're right. It is even odd (but endlessly pleasing) to get mail with a handwritten envelope. Thought provoking.
Tim, I like to send stamps to a school in Wigtown, Scotland to help with their fund raising. However, I received so few Christmas cards this past year, that I wasn't able to send as much as I wanted to.
Everyone is telling me that children barely write in cursive anymore. Gads.
If someone wants to check old documents, I guess reading cursive will be a lost skill.
Hey, something for me to do to earn money when I am old.
