Stuff - Contests

I have been reading; I just don't feel like blogging.

It's hot here again, and I feel listless when that happens.

So, here's a treat for all:

Beautiful purse contest
The people who have already lost (boo hoo; a couple didn't deserve to go) are: Simone, Chris, Carmen, Marion. The rest of the contestants of Project Runway can be found here:
Be sure to scroll all the way down.

Moleskin contest. Choose a number. The moderator will check whether it's been selected or not, so you don't need to read all the replies. Follow the rules on what to write. All the notebooks look so great, so don't wait!

Vouchers for on-line retailers for writing a short story. Ok,you have to use your brain, but you can do it! The 2007 Annual Writing Contest hosted by DBA Lehane. The vouchers are in English pounds, so double the amount. First prize is 25 pounds or US$50.00

Amy Butler contest - a bag to carry your books and a notebook to jot notes about what you are reading! Plus a couple of other goodies that you can keep or give as a present!

Rewards for Reading - Join Words by Annie Reading Challenge and win small prizes!
Read Japanese works and also win some beautiful presents!

If you hear of other contests, let me know!

It's hot? Over here it's been pretty cold.
Cool contests. I need to check some of those out.
I'm going to be around Friday if you get a chance to talk :)
Are you taking a blog break for the holidays? I probably will :)

It's freezing here, too, but I expect that in December in Nebraska. I don't mind snow, but we've had ice storms-yuck. Hope things cool down a bit. When it's hot I don't feel like doing much either.

It's still hot. I am sleeping with my summer nightgown, one cotton sheet, and walk around barefoot at home.

I put away my flannel nightgown and sheets and alpaca blankets.

I am waiting for winter to come again!

I wake up not knowing what to wear to work, until I stick my head outside.

It's also been foggy in the mornings.

Hello!

I'm stopping by to let you know that I've set up a separate blog for the What's in a Name? challenge. I hope you'll be able to stop by once in while to see what contests are going on and to leave links to any reviews you write. Thanks again for joining!
